Come Join the Red River Outdoor Group

Red River Outdoor Group at MiddleforkGo take a hike!

Don’t know where to hike? Don’t want to go alone? Want to get to know some really neat people? The Red River Outdoor Group resolves these issues for you with weekly hikes of all levels. And best of all, they are always guided, free, and open to everyone! Tourists are welcome, including the four-legged kind.

The Outdoor Group coordinates its schedule with the Community House hiking schedule, the Moreno Valley Trekkers, and the Rio Grande Wild Rivers Area to provide 4 to 7 hikes every week for all levels - easy, intermediate, and difficult.

Once a month the Outdoor Group gets together for a potluck dinner and slide show of the hikes that month (and lots of bragging!)

The Group is so informal that one member said of the Group: “We ain’t got no officers, no dues, no membership, no nothin’. We just like to hike!”
