Located at the corner of Highway 38 (Main Street) and Copper King Trail, you would never guess that the building was once a Red River bank, complete with safe and a basement. It’s now the home of Anchovies Pizzeria, the work of Trinity West and the newest eatery in town.
Offering a variety of pizzas for dine-in or carry-out, the menu will include the more common toppings, as well as specialty toppings.
“I’ll have a brisket pizza: it’s brisket, pineapple, green chile, caramelized onions and barbecue sauce,“ Trinity says. “There’s a Greek pizza with olive oil, red onions, kalamata olives, a small amount of mozzarella, fresh cucumber, tomatoes, tzatziki sauce and feta cheese.
“There’s also a deep dish focaccia pizza. I bake the dough as bread so I’ve taken that dough for a pizza crust. I think you’ll like it!”
